Knightdale

Knightdale is one of the fastest growing municipalities in North Carolina. Since 1990, the community has experienced a substantial population boom, built its own high school in 2004, and a freeway bypass in 2006. Within the past decade, Knightdale has sprouted new shopping centers along Knightdale Boulevard (Business U.S. 64) the main street through town. Over recent years, Knightdale has transformed from a small throughway town on the easternmost side of Wake County to a vibrant, young and energetic community, while managing to keep it’s small-town charm. Historic Downtown Knightdale, is home to many breweries, bars and several other family and dog-friendly venues. Knightdale is about 28 minutes (with no traffic) from Research Triangle Park and Raleigh-Durham International Airport, respectively. Knightdale is about three hours to Charlotte if you want to catch an NBA (Charlotte Hornets) or NFL (Carolina Panthers) game. The town of Knightdale is four hours from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and two hours from several of North Carolina’s beautiful beaches. With convenient access to amenities throughout the town, proximity to Downtown Raleigh, consistent growth, and high quality affordable housing, Knightdale has always been a great place to start something!
