BUILDER PROFILE

BQuest Homes

BQuest Homes is a custom builder in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle. It is listed in our custom and semi-custom builder directory rather than the production data set, so it holds no standing community inventory here and each build is priced from its own plan, lot and specification.

Who is BQuest Homes?

BQuest Homes is a custom home builder based in Clayton. Nate Mullins founded the company and owns it; Jillian Mullins is co-founder. The company's own site dates the brand to 2018, while the Better Business Bureau dates the current corporation, BQuest Homes Inc, to February 2021.

BQuest builds custom homes across the Triangle, with documented work in Raleigh, Cary and Apex as well as Clayton. It also takes on remodeling, consulting and land development. In March 2026 the company posted a Gary Sinise Foundation smart-home project on its website, an adaptive home built for accessibility.

BQuest Homes reviews

BuildZoom shows one review for BQuest Homes, rated 5.0. One review is not a track record. Ask BQuest for two or three recent clients you can call, ideally owners whose homes were finished in the last two years, and drive past the downtown Cary houses before you meet.

Questions to ask before you hire BQuest Homes

  • Is the 2-10 structural warranty part of my contract or an add-on? Get the warranty company's name in writing.
  • Will my home get a HERS rating, and is a target score written into the specifications?
  • On an infill lot in Cary or Raleigh, who handles the survey, tree rules, stormwater and permit, and what happens to the schedule if the town asks for changes? Our Raleigh infill lot checklist covers the big ones.
  • If you need accessible design, which features from BQuest's adaptive homes can go into your plan?
  • Who runs the site day to day, and how often will you get updates?
