Who is J.M. Davis Custom Homes?
JM Davis Custom Homes Inc. is a custom home builder founded in 1995 by Mark Davis, its master builder. Mark moved to Raleigh in 1985 and started the company ten years later (company history). Earlier versions of this page said a "Jim Davis" founded it in 1985. That was wrong.
For most of its history the company built in Raleigh and the western Triangle. Today it lists its base in Hampstead and says it now serves the Wilmington coast. It is a member of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber and was a 2026 Favorite Home Builder nominee there.
