Chapel Ridge Estates in Pittsboro, North Carolina

Chapel Ridge Estates is a small custom enclave on Rosefield Court and Willow Creek Court in Pittsboro, within the larger Chapel Ridge community. Homes here are new — built in 2026 and 2027 by Prewitt-Douglas Custom Homes — running roughly 3,568 to 4,070 square feet.

An Estate Section Inside an Established Community

Buying a new custom home inside a community that already exists is a different proposition from buying into a new subdivision. The amenities are built and operating. The roads are finished. The HOA has a real history rather than a projection. You get current construction without the years of waiting for the surroundings to catch up.

What you should confirm is how the estate section relates to the parent community — whether dues, amenity access and covenants are the same or layered, because in a community-within-a-community they are frequently not identical.

Chatham County Is Where the Land Went

Pittsboro has moved faster than any town in the western Triangle over the past decade for one reason: Chatham County still had land when Wake County ran out. That has pulled genuine custom building west, and a two-street custom enclave at this price is part of that shift rather than an outlier in it.

Building at a 2027 Delivery

A 2027 completion means signing a construction contract well ahead of the house existing. Settle the terms that move with time before you sign: what happens to your rate lock if the schedule slips a quarter, who absorbs material increases between contract and framing, and what remedy exists if delivery misses entirely.

Buying at Chapel Ridge Estates With a Team That Builds

We build custom homes in the Triangle as well as sell them, so we read an allowance schedule, a lot plan and a change-order clause from the same side of the table the builder does. In a two-street enclave the builder is most of what you are buying.
