Rockport is a Davidson Homes community on Stockton Springs Drive in Wake Forest. Homes run roughly 3,331 to 4,252 square feet, all built in 2026, on a single street.

Wake Forest Kept Its Downtown

Wake Forest is one of the few Triangle towns that absorbed a decade of growth without losing the thing people moved there for. Its historic downtown is a real one — brick storefronts, a functioning main street — rather than a shopping centre wearing the name. For buyers weighing it against closer-in options at the same price, that is usually the deciding factor.

A Single Street

One street and one builder means the neighborhood is finite and predictable. There is no phase two competing with your resale, and no second product tier arriving at the entrance. It also means limited inventory: when you want to buy or sell here, the pool is small in both directions.

Rockport or Addison West?

Davidson Homes is running two Triangle communities at nearly identical prices — this one and Addison West in Holly Springs, at the opposite end of Wake County. Same builder, same construction standard. You are choosing a town, not a house, and it is worth driving both before you decide.

Buying at Rockport With a Team That Builds

On a single street, the lot decision is nearly the whole decision — which homesites back to open space, which back to a neighbor, and what the premium on each actually buys. We read the plat before we tour.
