(upbeat music) - Hey, what's up guys? I got another cool builder for you. If you've never heard of Garmin Homes, I advise you to get familiar. So Garmin was founded in 2007, right?
And they've been creating smiles all along the way. In fact, they're in a couple of my favorite Triangle communities. Jim Garmin started out as a DJ. So you know that he knows how to create good vibes.
So why do I like this builder? Exceptional home service. They've taken care of a couple of my clients already. The Garmin team or G team has created several measures to ensure a smooth transaction for each homeowner.
Put it this way, try naming another builder that has a guaranteed close date. I'll wait. So in case you were wondering what Garmin's value prop is, I can start by mentioning their standard build features, like the EcoSelect certified with a HERS score, their solid 95% efficient furnace. We can talk on and on about the programmable thermostats, the low E windows, or the low VOC paints.
But you don't want to hear about that. You want to hear about the cool stuff. the tops, the staggered 36 inch cabinets, these freaking sweet luxury vinyl plank floors. So this building has so many cool features.
And instead of getting it from me, I wanted to get it directly from the source. So with me, I have the young Danica Coupling. We're going to talk about what makes Garmin so different, the cool things about Garmin. So we do two different build styles out in the neighborhood.
fresh paint by Garmin, which we call our curated builds. Those are fun because homeowners can pick a floor plan. And then what we call our curated packages where the flooring is already matched up with the quartz countertops and the hardware and the lighting throughout the entire room. And those are fun because they always change the name.
So one was like on the farm. Another one was all that glitters. So every time we come up with new ones, we kind of start over, come up with some fun names. All of your contracts are written by your legal squad.
Yep. Yep. So Elena, who's one of our owners, she jokes that for Christmas one year, she just wanted a more simple contract that wasn't a standard builder's contract. So I think we're up to seven pages, but it's seven pages so we can get through those pretty quick.
It's a lot more memorable. It's fun. It's not something that everybody's doing. It just stands out and it's different.
My clients that were, that we were here with, they had a fantastic experience and part of it was because of the transparency. It wasn't really difficult to explain much of the contract because most of it was something you were sending a text. Right. Right.
