BUILDER PROFILE

Envision Homes

Envision Homes is a custom builder in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle, working in Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina and Raleigh. It is listed in our custom and semi-custom builder directory rather than the production data set, so it holds no standing community inventory here and each build is priced from its own plan, lot and specification. The builder writes and presents that contract through its own representative; we represent the buyer instead.

Triangle towns Envision Homes serves

Envision Homes's onsite agents represent Envision Homes.

Every sales consultant in a Envision Homes model home works for Envision Homes: the builder's contract, the builder's lender, the builder's incentives. Tim M. Clarke represents the buyer on the other side of that table. He compares Envision Homes communities, reads the contract and warranty before you sign, and attends the walkthroughs. Register with him on your first visit.

Rooftop terraces looking over downtown Cary. Private elevators. A park at the end of the block that the town spent years planning.

Envision Homes builds that kind of location on purpose. The Raleigh company picks its own sites, develops them, and builds the homes, so the land is part of the product. Its downtown Cary townhomes at Park Station sold out. Its Walker Row condominiums next to Downtown Cary Park are selling now, and The Park at Wimberly in Apex starts at $575,000.

The company publishes more about its communities than about its contracts. Here is what the record shows and what to ask.

Who Is Envision Homes?

Envision Homes is a collaboration of Mick Michael, Jeremy Spivey, and Josh Swindell. Its Our Story page says each has more than 20 years of experience in the Triangle home industry and that the company self-develops its communities. It calls itself “a lifelong Raleigh-Durham homebuilder.”

The documented history

Envision Homes, LLC is listed as a builder member in the 2025 Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County directory. Its website lists an office at 100 E. Six Forks Road, Suite 304, in Raleigh, and the phone 919-388-4825. The directory lists a different number. Use the one on the website.

The company’s first start-to-finish project was Trinity Brownstones: 34 homes built between March 2015 and October 2020, which Envision describes as its first turnkey site development, homebuilding, and sales project.

The website does not publish a founding year, license number, or warranty terms. Its Our Story page says the leadership team works directly with buyers, vendors, and subcontractors.

How Does Buying From Envision Homes Work?

Envision does not publish a numbered process. Its pages point buyers to floor plans, feature sheets, and site maps for each community, and its home page invites buyers to ask about upcoming opportunities that are not yet posted. The Park Station page directs inquiries to an outside listing agent. A Park Station testimonial names the owners, the listing brokerage, the design firm, and the closing attorney as part of the buying team.

That tells you something useful. On an Envision home, you are buying a planned product through a sales team that represents the builder. We represent the buyer.

What Should You Verify Before Signing With Envision Homes?

Before signing with Envision Homes, verify the HOA documents, the price sheet, the warranty, and the status of the community. Our guides to choosing a Triangle builder and why the builder’s agent works for the builder cover the basics.

Read the condo or HOA documents

Walker Row is a condominium. Park Station and The Forks are townhomes. Ask for the declaration, the budget, the reserve study, and the dues, and find out what the association insures and what you insure.

Get the full price sheet

Only Park at Wimberly shows a published starting price. Ask for the price of the specific unit, the lot or end-unit premium, and the cost of options such as the private elevator.

Confirm “coming soon” means approved

The Forks and Southland Preserves are pre-launch. Ask about zoning, site plan approval, and the expected start date before you put down a deposit.

Get the warranty in writing

Envision’s site publishes no warranty terms. Ask for the written warranty and any structural coverage, and compare it with our home-builder warranty guide.

How Does Envision Homes Compare With Other Options?

Envision sits between a custom builder and a national production builder: small, owner-led, and focused on well-located infill sites.

Option Price level Lot Builder access Best fit
Envision townhome or condo From $575K (Wimberly) Shared or small lot Owners plus listing agent Buyers who want walkable, low-maintenance living
Envision single-family Ask for pricing One-third to one-half acre Owners plus listing agent Buyers who want a yard near downtown Fuquay-Varina
National production builder Varies Subdivision lot Sales office Buyers who want amenities and a standard process
Custom builder Higher Your lot Direct to builder Buyers who want to design from scratch

Who Is a Strong Fit for Envision Homes?

Envision fits a buyer who cares about location first and wants a finished, designed home.

The strongest candidates usually:

  • want to walk to downtown Cary or a park;
  • prefer a townhome or condo with less upkeep;
  • like a professionally coordinated interior package;
  • are relocating and want a newer home in a known location;
  • will read the HOA or condo documents before signing.

It is a weaker fit for buyers who want to design a house from the ground up or need acreage.

Final Thoughts About Envision Homes From Tim Clarke

Envision’s edge is land. The company finds the site, develops it, and builds the homes, and its downtown Cary townhomes sold out next to a park the town was still building. That is a smart read of where buyers want to be.

The gaps are the ones you would expect from a builder that markets communities: no published warranty, prices for only one community, and two projects still marked coming soon. Those are questions with answers. Get them in writing.

I have spent 17+ years in Triangle real estate. Our team builds as well as sells, so we know how to read a condo budget, a site plan, and an options sheet before you commit.
