Who is Hemera Homes?
Hemera Homes is a custom home builder based in Raleigh that works across the Triangle. Its official About page names two principals: Jessalyn Abril, who leads the building team, and Adrian Ordoñez, who leads construction (Hemera About page). The site describes the company as custom homebuilding with design and engineering leadership. It does not state who owns the business, so we do not either.

The Chapel Ridge home was a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath golf-course house with a study, loft, bonus room, vaulted family room and screened deck (Parade entry). That is the one completed project we could document in public records.

Questions to ask before you hire Hemera Homes
- Which legal entity signs the contract, and what is its own license number?
- Besides 372 High Ridge Lane, which finished homes can you tour and whose owners can you call?
- Who handles design and engineering, and is that fee separate from construction?
- Will you build on a lot I already own? Our guide to buying land to build covers what to check first.
- What warranty is in writing, and who responds to claims?
Building with a newer custom builder
A builder with one documented Parade home can do excellent work. The record is just thinner, so the contract has to carry more of the weight. We review contracts, lots and comparables for buyers building in Chatham County and across the Triangle. Talk with the Tim M. Clarke Team.
