Reese Construction has a real history: a builder founded by two brothers in 1995, Parade of Homes awards in 2002, 2005, and 2006, and custom homes in some well-known south Wake neighborhoods.
What it does not have is a current website. The company’s site has not been updated since 2017, and its community list describes homes and lots from that era. The 2025 HBA builder directory still lists the company, which suggests it is active. Confirm what it is building now before you plan around it.
Who Is Reese Construction?
Reese Construction, LLC was founded in 1995 by brothers Clint and Barry Reese, who started in remodeling and room additions. The company says the brothers were raised in Cary and studied at North Carolina universities.
As of its website, Reese built 10 to 12 homes a year, ranging from 2,500 to 6,000 square feet, across Wake County and in The Preserve at Jordan Lake in Chatham County. The company also runs Reese Recreational, a division that installs commercial playgrounds, surfacing, shelters, and shade structures for schools and parks.
The website lists the office at 3720 Lucky Drive in apex and the phone as (919) 329-5501. Reese Construction LLC is listed as a builder member in the 2025 Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County directory.

Treat the community list as history. The Banks Pointe description quotes estate homes “from $450,000 to $1 million +,” and the Brittmoore entry describes a home “from the mid $300,000s.” Those prices are years old.

Final Thoughts About Reese Construction From Tim Clarke
More than 30 years, three Parade years with medals, and homes in Banks Pointe and The Preserve at Jordan Lake add up to a builder with real experience. The website just has not kept up, so the current story has to come from the Reese brothers directly.
I have spent 17+ years in Triangle real estate. Our team builds as well as sells, so we know what to ask a builder whose public record is dated and how to check what they are doing now. If Reese Construction is on your list, call us at (919) 355-8462.
